Mystery rocker switch

My 2006 Chalet 31C has a rocker switch located in the right rear outside storage compartment. Can anybody tell me what it is for?

Thanks In advance.

Is it for the compartment light? If the bulb is burned out you might not make the connection.

Maybe for a light for hooking up utilities if it is on the driver's side. Do you have a picture?

theman440The switch does not show up on the wiring diagrams. If you pull the switch and get the letters at the end of the wire numbers you can look them up in the Wiring Identification Guide.

The Chalet model name is given to motor homes they manufacture for rental companies. They may have features that are not standard. You should call Winnebago and give them the serial number of your mh. Is your unit a class C or A? I've seen both with the Chalet label.

I'm guessing that the Chalet 31C is based on the Minnie Winnie 31C (Class C).

It is a class C - man I hope this thing wasn't a rental! It only has 33K miles on it.

Thanks for the help guys!

A photo might helps others identify the switch.

Thanks for all the help, I called Winnebago - turns out this model is the same as an Outlook. The mystery switch is for an outdoor cleaning station which this model does not have so it does nothing. Also found out these is a recall on it.
