They do make resettable hour meters but I've never seen one of those in an RV. If I did, I would be suspicious of whatever values it displayed. I replaced my hour meter when it went bad. The first one was a low cost unit from Amazon that died after three months. Based on other recommendations from RV forums, I replaced that with a VDO hour meter from NAPA that has been working great so far. It was a little more expensive but at least it works.
