New to RVing -- 1994 Vectra Motorhome Help Needed

Good evening, I just bought a 1994 vectra motor home and I new it had some problems, so I got it very cheep, but looking at the auto switch, ( gen ,50,30) I found the someone had cut the wires in the auto switch box and direct connect the shore power to the coach, what I need is a picture or directions on the correct wiring so I can connect the gen and 50,30 , auto switch back like it was.. any help would be deeply appreciated. . Thank you

Oh my. That was done for a reason I suspect. Twenty-four year old coach. Be careful.

Hay Larry, the only reason I can come up with is, there is a 50 amp plug (female) next to the gen,50,30, switch box. Eat her there was a problem with the gen, switch box, or I'm thinking they didn't have a 50 amp male plug ( males on both ends of cord.. I checked the switch box and it is in great condition. The 50 amp plug (female) is getting power, so it is working. The problem is I can't get power to basement a system to see if it works.to get air working I have to reconnect the switch box.

Pete--I wish I could help but unfortunately I'm clueless about electrical issues. I would like to recommend that you check out the iRV2 "Vintage RVs" forum... http://www.irv2.com/forums/f65/ . There are a lot of guys there who restore older RVs and have a wealth of information. Good luck to you and keep us updated on your restoration.

Winnebago has the schematics for every model on their website. It was over my head but electrical was on there I believe. Newbie here so might not understand what's wrong accurately.
