No 12 volt chassis power! 2014 Itasca Ellipse 42QD

I have a 2014 Itasca Ellipse 42QD, just had new chassis batteries installed, got home, shut it down, went to start ir up and had no 12v power when I turned the key - nothing! Any thoughts?

Hi Steve,
It makes me wonder if you have a high-amperage fuseable link in the circuit path.
Can you get a multimeter reading on the voltage on each of the two chassis batteries?
It is possible you have a bad battery with a cell that shorted-out?
Welcome to the forum.

Do you know of some form of "boost, aux, etc." switch on the dash to use when needing a jump start if the chassis battery is weak?
If using that, it can connect the coach battery system to the chassis battery and would help to sort if it is something simple like a dirty connection in the chassis battery line, or is it something more difficult like the small wiring ,etc. from key to starter solenoid.
My thinking is that connecting in the coach, might lean toward a chassis battery issue if the engine will then crank using a different battery!

We're you previously having any intermittent issues with the chassis before the new batteries were installed?
When you say no power, do you mean just to the starter or to everything including dash lights, headlights etc.
If the headlights work, turn them on and watch them while someone turns the key to crank and let us know if they dim or go out.
Since the batteries were just replaced there is a possibility there is a loose cable, if you were having issues before the batteries were replaced it could be a internally corroded cable not visible on the outside, or a starter issue.
