We have the outside entertainment center option. I have been able to get the tv to play what is playing inside with the air antenna and satellite are selected.

My question is should the exterior (jenson) radio be able to play what is playing on the inside radio, particularly the sirrius satellite radio. My guess is no. Could I make this happen with some sort of fm transmitter?

Thanks
Jim

Why not just multible your two spk's from inside to two external spk's outside. Your spk leads maybe marked as mine and maybe up in one of your front cabinets.
Or buy another sirrius radio and play on same station.
Sirrius may not allow a transmitter to ant input of outside radio but than again how would they know. Check Radio Shack maybe they have such a device.

007, cause I am lazy at times and didn't want to run wires from inside speakers to outside speakers. It seems like winny should have thought of that from the gitgo. Kind of like not linking the front speakers in the coach to the speakers in the bedroom. I am secretly thinking (hoping) that they have and I just didn't read the correct manual

Jim,

I am pretty sure your outside radio is completely independent of the inside radio. My evidence for this statement is that each has its own independent antenna.

So if you want to have sattelite radio outside, you will have to get creative as some of the other posts have suggested.

P.S. Currently in the mountains of Western NC.

Thanks, we actually have another sirrius boombox that is still active. I can figure out how to make it work.

Pusherman, we must be close to one another, we have had snow and wind also.

Click on my location below.

the boombox itself wont transmit to a radio you will need a car or house cradle that has the fm transmitter built in

Big Bear, most likely because it has a built in fm transmitter. The rv radio installed in our coach is sirrius ready but doesn't have a fm transmitter.

Thanks

My Sirius is the above dash Kenwood unit. It transmits on FM 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7. The outside Jensen unit will pick it up if I'm away from the city. In city there's too much interference.

The Kenwood unit has a FM antenna jack but ironically Kenwood does not make an accessory for it. I bought a 3/32"-2.5mm male connector end from Radio Shack and put it in there. It did make the signal a little clearer.

How do I turn it off? I keep pushing off button but it just changes from CD to AM.

Really? I didn't even try for the record!! Ha ha! Thanks, wyocamper. So do you have an answer to the Resurrecting question?

Yes, I know my picture is not a Itasca Spirit. It was a 2003 Adventurer. I sold that to my daughter and her husband.
