Are you speaking about the Progressive Industries EMS system HW50C unit or are you referring to the Intellitec EMS system which is used to shed devices when hooked to 30 amp or less shore power?
Please be more specific.

If it is the Intellitec, make sure that ALL you circuit breakers are on. If the branch which supplies power to the EMS is off, the unit will not work properly.

In most models, the EMS panel will not show anything since plugging into 50A negates it's function. Mine is blank until plugged into 30A or using the generator.

As stated above, the Intellitec EMS Panel should be lit up on the left side as to whether you have the Generator running producing power, or hooked to 50 amp shore power or you are hooked to shore power that is less than 50 amp.
The right-hand column of lights will be lit up depending on how many amps are available to use. The lights will shed from the top on down to the bottom.
If your panel is dark, then I would check to see if you have a communication problem between the main control panel and the EMS display.
Here is the manual with trouble-shooting tips in case you don't have one.

That's strange. We have the same coach and ours works differently. Our display won't show the actual amp draw while connected to 50 amp but everything else on the panel is lit as normal.

Im with RickO, everything on mine display's the same except amps. If no power, I would suspect breaker in the power pedestal or main breaker in the coach. A volt meter would be really handy.

The newer systems are different.
By scrolling thru menu, mine indicates power source, L1/L2 voltage, L1/L2 amp draw, and status of all load shed items. Regardless of power source.
You might try turning off house batteries to see if it resets.
Also, try genset.
I think, but not sure, that remote is controlled by cat cable attached to back of ac breraker panel. Maybe loose? Access by raising bed and removing screws on panel near end of bed.
The manual does not have any troubleshooting tips, nor does web site. I would call tech support 630-240-9832 or email [email protected]

Thanks might have been because I had breaker off to washer and dryer- anyhow when I flipped them on as dewinterized them both I had the panel back to normal.

Same thing happened to me. I had the w/d removed and thought it would be prudent to turn off that breaker. Wrong. :-)

That's good news.
They are probrably on separate L1/L2 circuits and used as input to controller.
Good to keep in mind.

Just returned from a 3 dayer and noticed my 50A light display (Intellitec) would not show when I was plugged into the 50A pedestal. It only showed the 30A display. I do have the W/D breaker off as we don't have that appliance. Would that be the possible issue?

These units measure current by a toroidal transformer on the neutral wire. If you have 50 amp service, the current reading in this wire is a "Delta" reading (Difference between two other readings) and thus of little use.. Thus the unit, not being needed, shuts down. I mean that's part of INTELLigent design.. Intella power is well named.

It may be. On my previous 03 Adventurer it would show 30A when on 50 amp if my water heater breaker was off.
