Powering a Starlink Mini on Micro Minnie FLX 2100BH

Hi everyone - I recently purchased a Starlink Mini and I'd like to plug it in somewhere in the pass thru area (mostly to keep cords out of the way of the doorway).

Unlike the legacy Starlinks the Mini is DC powered but comes with an AC adapter. Ideally I would find a way to power it with DC, but apparently voltage drop will be an issue with the 50 foot cable it comes with (see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Starlink/co..._and_aspiring/).

I'm comfortable with some simple wire cutting but want to keep this really simple. What will be easier:

1) AC: grab the AC outlet under the bed and turn it / rewire it so that it faces into the pass thru
2) DC: convert one of the pass thru puck lights to a female DC plug, but then I'd need to add a boost converter?
3) Something better that I haven't thought of?

Thanks all. For reference I have the FLX 2100BH - so Lithionics battery paired with Xantrex inverter.

The Starlink Mini is new enough that you'll likely get your best answers from larger more generalized RV forums, like IRV2. Even seasoned Starlink users have different power and cabling experiences than those with the Starlink Mini.

As to specifics to your TT you may be the first to figure this out and you can then post a "how to" of your own to tell others in the near future that may come by asking the same question.

Here's a guy doing this with his Forest River TT:

Thanks! Helpful video. I guess the 12 to 24v power boost converter might be the way to go.

I guess I'll keep the question at a generic "have folks found it's easier to add an AC outlet or use the DC puck light when trying to add a power source in the pass thru"?

And for folks that have changed the DC puck lights to a power source, do you miss the old puck light?

I'm not hardwiring the mini, just looking to keep the cord away from the door and the plug out of the elements. Whatever I end up doing I will post about the experience.

One thing to keep in mind, the puck lights are fairly low amperage connections and are wired directly with other similar lights. So, be sure to calculate the draw and find out if you have enough current available with your puck light wiring.
