I`m having problems getting answers from Riverpark about the Q Surround DHS 5.1 audio processor in my 2003 Itasca. It has 5 ceiling mount cube speakers and 2 6 x 9 speakers in the coach. I have to replace one of the 6 x 9 speakers and wanted to know what the best replacenent would be. Is it considered a subwoofer?
Riverpark? Are you sure they supplied that? That's news to me, but that doesn't mean it's not so.
On my 2017 the Subwoofer is at the floor in a kitchen cabinet facing the living room. I'd be surprised to see one in the ceiling. Again, doesn't mean that there isn't one there.
Have you seen the thread about this on www.irv2.com?
There are 2 6 x 9 speakers in the system. One in the rear under the fridge and one on the side of the forward entertainment center where the TV is. Riverpark apparently handles all the legacy QSound systems now.
Yes, the 6x9 is called a subwoofer for our installs in the product fiche. It was installed by Winnebago, not supplied by Riverpark as far as I know. Probably part # 124884-01-000 (what it was for my '04 Vectra.) Honestly, I think its pretty much just a standard 6x9 4 ohm speaker, not a true powered subwoofer. I have 2 in my coach too, one under the fridge and one by the driver seat.
