You have extra money? Send me some!!! My wife has been off work and in the hospital twice over the last two months. Just got her home today after the weekend in the ER, ICU and private room.

When dry camping, I didn't like the performance of the two group 31 12v batteries installed by Winnebago. Last year one of the 12v's went bad, so I bought two Costco golf cart 6v batteries. They gave me nearly the same ah, and were $80 ea.

Over the year, we found that we could get one night, running the TV, Satellite receiver, some lights, etc, for about 3 hours, and my wife's sleep machine all night. by morning the inverter was ready to kick off from low voltage. It worked fine as long as we ran the generator a bit before night time.

This year, I added two more Costco 6v batteries to the mix. Now we can run as much TV time, propane furnace, sleep machine, as we want at night, the voltage only drops 1/4 a volt or so. 440ah goes a long ways!

Sorry that was $99 each battery.

Price was $99 each not total sorry I gave you the wrong idea. We're hoping the batteries make dry camping a less difficult situation. It would be nice to have two additional batteries but I'm not sure where to put them.
Thanks for your help perhaps we'll be back at Imperial Dam soon.

Yes, I know it's

Thanks!

Yes, it's not fun since they can't find any reason, and I'm afraid that by the time they do it'll be too late!

Now, back to the regularly scheduled program!!

Are they sealed? I see some GC2s 6V advertised for $220+ each!
Thanks,

Thanks,
If they are sealed, then they are AGM 6v in the GC2 size. Trojan makes these and that price would reflect an AGM. Those however have less AHs and also have a CCA rating.

I was in Sams Club in Sanford, Fl (down here for the winter) yesterday and saw they had GC2s on sale for $81.

Trust me on this.. When you post on the Internet, if there is any possible way for someone to read it wrong.. They will.

Kind of Murphy's law of internet posting.

I kind of expect someone to take this post wrong in fact.

For example; They may think I'm talking about them.. not true, I'm talking about Murphy's laws.
