Routing wire into cab 36Y

I have looking for a place to route some wires into the cab of our Vista 36y and there is no obvious place to enter. On other vehicle, there is a rubber covered hole to make entry. I was thinking of drilling a hole but not sure the best location. Thru firewall or floor..or any other ideas...

Thanks in advance

How big are the wires? I ran my wires for my dash cam and 2nd rear view monitor up through the defrost vent. Had to drill a hole in the metal plate under the vent piping, but it worked out well. Hope that helps, I know mine may be different. I have a W24 Workhorse chassis. What is yours?

I have a ford chassis on the 36Y. These are power wires direct from battery compartment for my ham radio. There has to be an easy way to route these to cab. I looked for a place around steering or fuse area.

With all the weather proof pass through these days, I find it better to just find a good spot to make a fairly large hole and use that for future wires. Seal it up with a good sealer and it will be there for you to use in the future.
Happy Glamping.

Benhicksphot-

Man, my coach has so many penetrations that I could skip the vent system!

The Ford F-53 chassis has some pretty big wire bundles for the coach builder to get into the cab.

Your Winnie's wiring diagrams are available at this link. in particular, the "Front End Wiring Installation" is at this link, and give ideas as to where the penetrations are. This may not be the only diagram that has the information you seek. For instance, the "Chassis Wiring Installation" set, sheet 3, shows the front end.

Take a look at the drivers side front area where the chassis wires come thru. You can remove some of the sealant stuff and push your wires thru there and then reseal it.

Do you know if you access that area from the underside drivers area or thru the firewall? I have crawled under the drivers side and nothing is obvious..

Routing wire into cab 36Y

Here's a follow-up to the routing of cable into the cab. I was able to locate a large junction of wires going into the fuse box area underneath the drivers area I routed cable into that area and to the radio and the other end was routed underneath along with all the rest of the wires to the battery's. Thankfully I did not have to drill any holes into the cabin area which is what I desired.
Of course I fused the cables at the battery and also it is fused with an Anderson fuse block.
Thanks to all for helping me find a good Safeway of route in the wires.
