Strange electrical, got me on this one
2004 MiniWini 31.
Two receptacles in kitchen area, one between stove and sink stops working, both shore or Gen.
Go to one on end of counter by entry door, this is a GFI,plug in say coffee pot and the dead one comes to life.
This just does not make any sense, think I have a mini troll.
Any ideas?
Had this happen with the one a cross the other side by dinette just once, Oh also just have converter, no inverter to to get . in the mix.

Your erratic operating plug will be daisy chained through the GFI, this is common practice in RVs. Plugging into the GFI will either be disturbing the reset button or doing something internally to make contact to power the other plug.
Power down the RV from shore power and pull the GFI from the wall, then tighten the wiring connections, and re-test. If problem persists , replace the GFI, outlet.

Had a similar situation in sticks & Bricks house. Turn out only fix was replacing the GFCI recpt.

Methinks simply replacing his problematic GFCI receptacle with a new one. (from Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) will solve OLYLEN's problem.

We will take a look at the above. Guess I could down load wiring diagram.
This only happens on a morning with a high coffee need. LOL

When you get the new GFI get one with screw terminals not push in's. The push in one's are infamous for their reliability.

Not any more. The code finally caught up with the manufactures and the new GFCI's have good connection points.
I have enjoyed reading these posts. Good advise from all.
