Much depends on the exact TV and some details but some basics are often the same so , let's do a bit of guessing, first.
Step one is getting the switch right for the input you are using. TV for the antenna is often simpler. Do you get over the air TV?
That requires the amp for the TV going to the antenna to be turned on, often with a tiny switch located on the switchplate. Can be hidden in a cabinet and hard to spot the switch in the dark! Have you found that and got over the Air working?
That also reuires getting the internal TV menu set to get the input right. Some do it semi-auto and some have to be led right to the correct setting, so it bears checking.
You have two connections for the sat/cable? I am more used to a single which does both but they also require getting the TV settings right for that input. New TV are not friendly for our use with having to get the connections right, before we can do the scan to see if we have the connections right! Trying to get it right with cable is somewhat easier as we can be a bit more sure we are getting a signal versus not knowing for sure we are aiming the sat dish in the right direction, etc.
