My front slide worked normally. My rear slide was intermittent. I replaced the solenoid with a generic starter solenoid - just be sure it has a ground terminal & does not use the mounting bracket for ground. I could make the old one work by adding a ground jumper to the frame, but that disabled the safety of having to set the brakes. I measured voltage drop thru the parking brake switch & the new solenoid energized w/ less current draw on the coil. No problems since.
My 2004 suncruiser has the hwh control box in front of the engine compartment and I had a loose connector going into the box that caused a similar problem
This is a long shot and may not be at all relavent to you. But, when viewed from the outside, is there a crack in the fiberglass body at the lower right hand corner of the slide opening in the body?
Our 2004 has one. I'm told by a fellow camper that he had his fixed by repairing a coach frame failure, which required stripping off the interior wall at the head of the bed.
Like I said, it's a very long shot.
