I think you must change the TV input source to AV1 ( aux1?). The DVD does not play through the HDMI interface.

Thanks David. I'll try that when I have a chance.

Got the DVD player figured out. There was a problem with a bad connection behind the tv. Works great now. I just put in a disk and it plays. Thanks to all for the advice.

I want to by a Vista 27N but also want a washer/dryer combo, can you ask your friends where in the coach they installed the washer/dryer combo?

Their coach had the outside TV/entertainment center. They pulled out the TV and used that room and the cabinet area behind it to plumb and install the Splindide. They installed the ventless model which simplified the install but I would have gone with the vented. It took two friends, one of whom is a seasoned RV remodelers a long weekend to do the job. They did not use any cabinet doors on the front and the face of the unit protrudes past the cabinet an inch or so. Not intrusive at all and looks factory.

We've been in our 27N for two weeks now. Love it. More than enough room for two. The only gripes we had was light in the hallway. Couldn't read the thermostat very well. Solved the problem with one of those battery operated puck lights. Works great.
