2019 Vista 29VE Water Pump Help

The water pump in my 2019 29VE has stopped working. The red light on the control panel comes on when the switch is on, but the pump does not power on. I have looked for fuses and circuit breakers but can’t find any that are popped or blown. Any ideas if there are “hidden” fuses, or what else may stop the pump from working. Currently on the road, without access to manuals or wiring diagrams.

Since a circuit take both a path in and a path out to ground, one of the easy ways to mess up our thinking is to ignore the ground side of things. I find one of the best tools to carry is a meter to read both the voltage going in as well as being sure there is a path to ground going out.
We tend to forget to check the ground.

But then it may be several other things that keep the pump from running, like switches or even being jammed or failed. There is also the pressure switch that can cause a pump to not come on if it sticks.

I have same coach with a Red Light.

1st thing I would check is whether you have voltage to the pump. I keep voltmeter and basic tools at all times. 2nd thing is to verify the pump on outside kitchen is working.

If you confirm your pump is bad, switch the two until you get a chance to get a new pump.

If there is a bad fuse a red led on the fuse panel will light next to the fuse. I am waiting on a replacement for the gray tank pump in the kitchen. Water got into the motor. My rig is a 2018 I bought used but the pump is from 2022 so I it was replaced before and I suspect is a flaw in the pump. Hopefully the issue has been fixed by now. Unlike the Dometic toilet which was replaced once already and needs to be replaced again. I was sh the RV industry would actually have quality control.

Folks, be aware this nearly 3-year old thread has been resurrected and it's not a new thread. This means the previous posters have LONG since solved their problems and moved on.

This is just a heads up so folks don't think they are helping out the original poster solve a current problem.

While that is true many people, like me, look for solutions to problems here. This thread did not include any solution and I found no solution to my issue so I figured I would add some useful information for others that may be helpful.
