2020 SunStar Sensor Identification and Location

2020 Sunstar 27PE. Had hitch installed found wire and senor wedged in but not attached to anything. On drivers side front of engine. Can anyone help me identify and determine where it is supposed to be attached? First time post so don't know if you'll be able to get to picture location.

Thanks,
Jerry

I have a 2019 but didn’t find a connection like the pic. Is this under the hood or dash. Where does the other end go?

No wiring info, etc. available online, so you may get lucky and somebody be up on the newer sernors to know but from looking the best I could see is that the white plastic part is of a type which makes me think it was meant to be snapped into a notch of some type. Another idea is that it appears there might be ID numbers on the side and if you press the release snap one each side (right next to the thumb?) it may unplug from the wiring to let you see a name and model number of some sort to do a search online for ideas on what it might do?
There are thing that are not used if we don't have a specific option, so it may not be one you even need but something that comes standard on chassis but not necessarily used by Winnebago is you don't have that option.
Possible you need it but also maybe not???

Thank you. I've found out it is a temperature sensor the mounts into the hole on the upper left corner of the air deflector.

Thanks again,
Jerry

Temp sensor for outside temp on the dash or sense some critical item? Looks like something that was not screwed in to get any inside temp of anything as it doesn't look like it was ever screwed in, so just sensing air?
I have a sensor that is just mounted down inside the front grill and I've always wondered how much help it can be if it's getting wet in the rain.
Nice to find a definite answer to stop wondering if we are missing something vital.
