94 Winnebago Suncruiser Total Rebuild!
My brother in law and I just embarked on a great project - a 94 Winnebago Suncruiser that had been used by a sheriff's department as a "Command Center". 24,000 miles, runs great, but it was totally gutted to convert it - including plumbing!
I'd like to access original manuals, specs, plumbing diagrams, etc. Problem is I don't even know the actual model number! Where can this be be found? There is a plate to the left of the driver's seat that says Model SCG29RS, but i think that is the Chevy model, not the Suncruiser model.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jack

Sounds like a trip but there is a lot of help----possibly!
This is a great place to start on getting tons of info but the age makes it more difficult but still lots that may help:
https://winnebago.com/owners/owner-t...s-and-diagrams
Start with, "how to id a motorhome", perhaps?
Then look over the plumbing section?
I might guess the model is something built specific as it has the weird ID but it sounds like 29 foot might fit for some info?
Also look at the VIN number and a way to "decode" those numbers?

Suncruisers were branded as an Itasca model not Winnebago. In 94 there was a model ICG29RQ.
I don’t know if that is your model number or not. I’m just guessing based on your Model SCG29RS comment.
If it is your RV’s model number there is not a lot of plumbing diagrams. Here is a link:

Winnebago builds commercial models. Yours may not have started life as a motorhome, it may have been built like that. I don't think much documentation exists for them, as they are all custom ordered. Basic unit is probably the same as one of the '94 Class A layouts though.
A '94 Suncruiser had a ICG29RQ model, that could be what yours is based on, the "S" being for specialty instead of "I" for Itasca?

I'd try contacting Winnebago for info on your specific MH. I'm sure they have some record.
And, as you start to build your own interior, make sure you're careful about weight distribution. Once you figure out which model it's based on, the floor plan for it should help you balance things out even if you change things here and there.

Thanks all!
Thank you all for the responses! I will check out all the leads. I'm going to contact Winnebago directly to see if they have any info. our biggest challenge is getting some tanks in - It does look like there was water inlets, as long as there is room for the tanks I'm sure I can find something!
Thanks again, I'll keep ya posted!
(BTW, I have a 2007 Winnebago Outlook, so I'll be out there as soon as it warms up!)

Jack, Winnebago makes all their own tanks in house and designs then to fit the available space exactly. You might have better luck buying tanks directly from WBGO that will fit the RV you have. No doubt your commercial model has the same spaces for tanks as the regular Itasca model.
Other RV manufacturers just use generic rectangular tanks, but WBGO builds custom shapes made to fit.

Jack, I have some Microfiche that covered some 1993 Itasca models, mine was a 1993 Itasca 454 throttle body. If you like and can find a microfiche reader I'll see what I have. Ken

I have no idea who has one, other than me (I'm old) but I think your winnie is a 29RS. The microfiche I have is 13 sheets from the 1993 22RB passage/brave to the 37 Suncruiser.
