Accessing Mechanicals for Forza slide repair

Needing some help on how to access the Lippert H frame from the full wall slide. There is a vertical body side molding on the exterior that I would guess covers the retaing screws of the slide track. Is this glued on or is there something else ? I don't want to ruin the molding.
Thank you.

Hi and welcome,

We're sorry you are having slide problems. But you know Winnebago makes dozens of RVs and they change them nearly every year. So, we really need to know the model year and floor plan of your Forza.

Since we don't all own Forza motorhomes, we have to look up your RV's documentation to respond to your question and... we can't do that when we have no idea what Forza year or model you have.

I would highly recommend the Vroom slide system!

Keep in mind that as of the current time, the Vroom system is intended to be a replacement for Schwintec slides. Though a close cousin to the Schwintec, the Lippert SlimRack slide seems to be getting some attention from Vrom, too.

The OP's Forza is an underfloor rail slide and not something Vroom has shown any desire to expand into.

Alco007, I was watching a new video on YouTube by a RV DIY repair guy today. It's a different RV completely, but it has a trim piece at the beltline above the basement compartments.

The video shows "Tito" replacing a dented lower compartment door that is underneath his full wall slide. As he was putting the door on he shows that the trim piece pops up and under it was access to the hinges of the swing UP compartment door. Without the door in place as he was replacing it, I could see the Ram under his slide.

Now, it's a different year (2002), and a different RV (Adventurer not Forza) but it gave me an idea of what you were asking. This may not apply to you at all, but I figured you might watch a minute of it and gain some insight. If not, sorry it wasn't a help.

Just fast forward to the 18 min mark to see the trim/door/slide ram part:
