My 2017 Winnebago Adventurer it came OEM with a 10" main screen in the center of the dash with a lovely 7" monitor built into the dash in front of the passenger seat.
Normally, I keep the GPS Mapping and XM Radio info showing on the main 10" monitor. But to see the rear view camera trained on the TOAD I would have my wife lock her passenger monitor to the rear view camera. Then every few seconds to one min I would glance at her monitor to see the Toad. When maneuvering gas stations and tight spots I'd ask my wife to watch the Toad for me. When I needed GPS help my wife would lean over to the center screen and try to help out in quasi-emergencies.
This got old. So, I installed a 3rd 9" screen from amazon on my side near the front A pillar and it shows the rear view camera (and side cameras when using the turn signals) all the time.
I ordered a fairly cheap ($57) monitor with HDMI and AVI connections. I thought I'd used the HDMI port because I knew I had an unused HDMI port on the Xite Core Unit. BUT, when I removed the core unit from it's cabinet above the windshield I saw 3-typical AVI Connection (Yellow/Red/White) marked AUX Output that were totally unused.
I plugged in a yellow AV video connection in the Aux Output and into the monitor and it worked perfectly. The Monitor I bought needed a 110v wall wart power adapter, but the adapter output just 12v, so I replaced it with a direct 12v connect.
Now, I can keep the center screen on the GPS and XM Radio. My wife can use the GPS right in front of her to give me a hand or change the radio station. And I can glance at the Toad anytime while looking at the mirrors or out the windshield.
