Adventurer 30T Hydraulic Leveling System Reservoir

Again... trying to do monthly maintenance. Manual speaks to checking the reservoir, but it gives absolutely no indication of where it is. I've looked "under the hood" and didn't see anything. My next thing is to crawl under the rig and look around, but we've had rain for 3 days and it's muddy and puddled under there. Any suggestions on where to look would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

I just looked at the interactive parts list on winnebago.com (do you know how to find this parts list?) and found your tank is in the same place on your RV as it is on mine.

It's just behind the driver under the driver compartment. You open the forward driver side basement compartment door and it's reachable just forward of that compartment.

There are two things on top of the tank one has wires coming out of it and the other is the cap to fill the tank. You'll pull on it, twist it and swear there's a trick but you just have to rock it back and forth while pulling extra hard.

Here's a screen shot from your parts list, it's the blue tank just in front of the pressure solenoids and pump:

There are no "FULL" marks on my tank. But full is when the level is about 1/2" from the top. NEVER fill it if the jacks are down ONLY when they are full up.

Excellent, thank you very much. Going to have to find that parts list.

You open the access door for the propane, the pump and res. is right there. Be sure to leave the cap on the side alone, you want to do the top cap only. Just add type 3 Automatic Transmission Fluid to the lip of the top cap. Repeat yearly.

Lucky you

On our 2006 Sightseer 29R, the reservoir is under the drivers seat, but not accessible from any compartment. The only way to get to it is to run the living room slide out and roll under there. We do have the old style jacks where the level is pretty much the same retracted or extended; Kwikee Level-Best, Hydraulic down and up - no springs.

Just be mindful that its not a good idea to use Dexron III transmission fluid or any hydraulic fluid with a dye in it if you have any hydraulic slide outs where the rams or hoses are mounted inside the basement or under a piece of furniture such as underneath the bed. The even a minor leak will leave the carpets, etc stained red while the clear non-staining hydraulic fluids will wash out with a carpet extraction machine and the correct de-greasing carpet extraction cleaner without leaving a red stain behind.

My bedroom slide out has its hydraulics hidden under the beds false bottom and mounted on top of the carpet.
