Thx, I ended up using Formica. My original plan was to use luan and some contact paper, but couldn't find anything that matched closely. I took your suggestion and looked over samples of laminate at Lowes and picked something similar to my current color. That stuff is hard to work with unless you put some kind of backing on it, so I used some 1/8" hardboard and spray adhesive.
This whole project (window removal, replacement of the top vista panel, reinstallation of the window, wall repair) required a huge amount of patience, something I kept looking for in my toolbox! 😧

Same problem, wet wall under pass. window
Had same problem, had to replace AC socket, DC socket, and wooden block. Found leak above pass window, and maybe leak at front cap, sidewall interface. Dug out all old suspect caulk, cleaned with caulk dissolve and acetone, then washed with soap and water. Recaulked. Then put a large screw into the bottom back corner of the front cap into the side wall. This overlap has a gap between the cap and sidewall, on my Adventurer about 1/4", the screw keeps the corner from pulling away from the caulk. 2 years and no problems, yet.

Hi,
Glad you found the problem but it was in a different spot then mine. I had the same leak and it came from the top seal of the passenger window. It was a very small hole in the caulking and was very hard to spot. I re caulked the entire top of the window and the leak stopped.
