I thought to look at the AC drawings on the parts catalog but the Via listing is not coming up, so no info there. the 2011 Adventurer does list drains but no drawings of location or part but I might guess being longer is the difference?

On the question of the padding, I might think it has two jobs. One as insulation but also more as a sound proofing thing? Rubber has better value as it lets sound waves hit and rather than bounce off a more solid item, it tends to flex the rubber, absorbing some of the energy as well as not letting it bounce to other points and come out.
Kind of like a handball court? If we used rubber walls we would get far less bounce!

Maybe that makes a bit of difference in the sound we get, so I'm inclined to do all I could to cut noise from the AC!

That's what I found as well, anyway I did climb up there this morning and figured it out, I have no pump, it's a gravity drain in the bottom of the evaporator tray then 2 slots higher up in case the hole in the bottom gets plugged, which mine was 100% clogged as there was an inch of water in there and all draining was thru the overflow slots. I cleaned it all out with 1/2" tubing attached to my shop vac and put it back together. There is a sponge like filter in there as well that takes up the whole end compartment where a pump would go so I know mine never had a pump. I can see the mounting holes in the sheet metal cover for a pump but mine were taped over with foil tape. We're on our way out the door so I'll post the pics later.

So here's the pics, not much to see, the end reservoir is part of the evaporator drain tray, there is a hole in the bottom that was plugged up then there are the two slots that let the water dump over the sides into the bottom pan which has holes drilled in it to let the water out onto the roof. There is a sheet metal cover that had some butyl on the sides and foam across the top where it meets up against the fan housing, not sure why but I cleaned it all off and put new butyl and new foam on it before re-assembly. If a pump was used it would bolt to this sheet metal cover, and there would probably be a different filter as my filter takes up the entire reservoir. If a pump is used I', assuming the drain hole would be plugged with something as well, or maybe it's a knockout that you leave in place if using a pump. I never would have thought about checking under that cover but jakm's post got me thinking maybe I'd better take a look before replacing the shroud and I'm really glad I did. This looks like maybe a yearly maintenance job.

Between this, my Micro Air and my plenum mod I'm looking forward to some comfortable traveling this summer.

I don’t know that all Polar Mach’s were offered with the condensation pump just like not all had the heat pump feature. The pump should be visible on the unit and the tubing hanging down underneath.

That’s correct and I was told that on some models of Coleman-Mach A/C units you could add a condensate pump if yours didn’t come with one. But I don’t know the specifics of this.
