Baggage Doors, keeping them open

I have a 2008 Winnebago Vista 32K with nine basement storage compartment doors, but only four of them have latches to keep them open.

Does anyone have a clever solution for keeping these doors open when loading and unloading items, especially the ones under the slides? I was thinking of using a spring like we do on boat hatches.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated—my head will thank you!

Welcome to winneowners.com !

It will require planning, measuring and designing; but aftermarket gas springs can be installed on each top-hinged door. These websites(my bookmarks) will have more information:
gas struts springs

https://www.hatchlift.com/index.php?...cement-springs
https://www.liftsupportsdepot.com/

My 4' wide doors require 2, 90 pound gas springs. The smaller doors require 2, 45-60 pound springs.

x2 on the gas struts. Your friendly marine chandler should have very high quality ones. Super easy to install.
