Class A Insurance for 2016 Sightseer33C

We are newbies to Class A. All our other trailers and 5th wheel were insured by Amica. Today they told me they don't insure Motor Homes. They said try Foremost or Progressive. We are picking up our 2016 Sightseer33C tomorrow and I need some advice. What insurance company have you had good luck with?

Progressive Ins. has our MH and auto policies.

We first check our auto insurance as it is often cheaper to do both with the same company.
But shopping around for insurance can save a bunch if you can get the same coverage!
It's part of my wife "duties " to see how much she can save every time it comes around!

It drives me crazy but she is a pro at the paperwork!

We have Progressive insurance as well. They’ve paid claims quickly without hassle and have been more than fair on pricing.

Foremost has a great stand alone policy.

It depends where you live or registering it. We live in Florida and insurance have left or insurance rates gone up just like homeowners and car insurance. I have National General through Good Sam's. Don't ask me why but it's cheaper than going directly to National General probably because of numbers. If your a member of Good Sam's or FMCA check there prices. There's also Progressive, Farmers, Hanover, Geico, State Farm, Allstate, Liberty Mutual, and there's others. When shopping make sure the insurance quotes are exact and check on how the figure out total replacement cost. Also if your only camping during the same make sure it's calculated on time on the road or it allows you to put it in storage or vacation so while it's in storage you pay less. JMHO

Mine is with Foremost through Winnebago via FCIS. They had the best rate for the increased coverage I wanted. Roamly had the second best quote which I believe was using Progressive. Our previous RV was through Nationwide, they gave me the run around when I tried to insure our DP.
