Driver’s Map Light 2018 Vista LX 35F

2018 Winnebago Vista LX 35F
The led light over the driver seat will not turn off. It is part of the switch control that operates the dash board lights. When I turn the light off it dims to about 20% and then comes back to about 90% brightness. It has not been a problem since I bought it new and just recently noticed the light staying on. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Is the switch a rheostatic switch? It might be failing internally.

Our mh is way older than yours is but.... on ours the dimmer switch for the dash lights just controls the light level, to turn it on and off I twist the headlight knob like in old cars to turn the interior light on and off.

Thank both of you for your replies. What I did find out was the part in question is not Winnebago, but Ford. The part fits most of the truck dash boards, but you have to search for the part. The probability that was suggested of the rheostat failing was also the same answer I received from an electronic engineer. I found a new part and will see what happens.
