Is the material winding up crooked, like it's trying to run off the end of the tube? If so, the material is moving in the gutter awning slot, or the tube slot. Wind will slowly walk the material in one direction if the screws are not installed correctly.
Make sure it's centered on the tube, then make corrections at the gutter awning slot. My old manual awing would move in the gutter slot and require a strong push on one end to get it centered again.
Do all that when the awning is extended.
All I had to do was get it centered then remove the retaining screws in the gutter slot, then re-drill holes in the aluminum slot to replace the screws; but I never got aroundtuit.
