Did anyone who installed the E-trailer 32inch wiper blades experience the problem that the blades won't follow the windshield curvature on its ends?

Hi All! I picked up my 2016 Forest River Berkshire XL 40BF Sunday. It is a beauty. No more camping from now on we are going Glamping!
40' of Luxury. Did I mention it only has 5975 miles when I bought it? I found the original sales agreement in amount the manuals and the unit had 2215 miles on it when they bought it 4 years ago...hardly used and like new. I had it professionaly inspected and the inspector said he found one thing wrong with it and took me to the back bumper area and showed me 3 paint chips!!! He said if you don't buy this I will.
Air bag suspension is fantastic...rides like a dream. Has dual pane glass so hear virtually no road noise...so nice to drive in peace and quiet and be able to hear the radio and each other talke.
Happy trails you guys. Best to all.

Modified the wiper body by removing about 5/8" from one end of the wiper body center opening. Now the wiper arm clears the wiper body allowing the blade to rest normally on the windshield. Also squeezed the body a bit so the plastic keeper tabs grabs the arm better. Hate to have em flying off.

That’s the exact problem o had with the etrailer Clearplus #77321. It wouldn’t lie flat on the passenger side of the window without cutting a larger whole, as you did, in the arm. But also, the clamp as you mentioned, is too long for the JHook. I’d like to see a close-up of how you managed to get it secured. Good job!

YGoHom or Feiter, what alignment place did you take your Intent to? I live in the area and have a 26M as well that I just did the whole suspension on and wanted to get it aligned. I have gotten some pretty crazy quotes!
Also YGoHom, are you selling that little fridge mod? Would love to hang out and discuss Intent things with you and Feiter!

Welcome to the club!
We both went to San Diego County, Alignment Plus brake, alignment suspension specialists
Ray knows his stuff and tells it like it is. It's not cheap, but it appears that you've read through this thread, and know how important it is.
I have parts for the fridge latch, but I ran out of the little red rubber things that fit properly. I have some slightly oversized ones that could be glued on.
PM me.

The smaller j hook didn’t reach back and clip securely to the back of the mount. I hope you have it in well. The smaller JHook clips mount did work fairly well with the Trico RV blade, not the single beam one. Hope it sticks, thanks for the pix.

Yeah it doesn't hook very solid without pinching the blade body slightly to put pressure on the hooks. A Mickey-mouse contraption for sure.
With that pinching model, they have to be yanked pretty much to get them to release. I will certainly keep an eye on them. In the mean time I hope someone here can direct us to a set of wipers that work without mods.....

This is the only one that I know that is a direct replacement without any mods.
The windshield wipers have been the Bain of my existence. I’ve tried four different models. The Trico ones that are specific to our RV, model #18-320 are a single beam unit. YGOHOME and I both had one fly off our windshield, which led me to trying a replacement.
I ordered from etrailer, the ClearPlus # 77321 which is an arm that is spring loaded, not a single beam type. Problem with that blade was the J Hook clamp connections were too long for our short J Hooks on the wiper assembly, and they wouldn’t lock into place appropriately.
So then I bought Trico blade part # 67-324, which said it was an “RV” specific one. But those J hook clamps wouldn’t allow the blade to lie against the glass, as in your case the, passenger side doesn’t touch the windshield when in its down position.
This is because the blade opening is too small interferes with the JHook, and it can’t lie flat.
I was able to use the optional clamps from the Trico 67-324 on the ClearPlus blade, and it worked—barely.
Upon reading more on Trico’s website, they say their single blade system, # 18-320 is superior for RV windshields over the spring loaded one they also sell.
So I’m back to the one that fell off, Trico #18-320, chalking it up to my installing them incorrectly. This time, I made sure they snapped firmly into place—we’ll see..

I found some wiper blades off the shelf at Mike Thompson’s or Giant RV that fit perfectly.
I’ll get the brand info tonight.

Wiper Blades
Sorry for the delay. Here’s a pic of the box and a link.
The downside...passenger side doesn’t sit flat on the glass, but neither did the factory blade.
Upside...they haven’t flown off! 👍🏼
