Hot Plastic Smell - Meridian

After fulltiming in my Meridian for 7 months, I thought the smell of hot plastic while on propane heat would go away. Wrong!!
Has anyone else had this issue?

Your Meridian surely must still be under warranty, I would be for taking it to the dealer and having them check it out. Sounds like some missing insulation or something like that around the furnace unit.

I would suspect plastic floor covering debris left in ductwork.

No, it smells like hot pipe when you hold a propane torch to it

We had a Winnabego Journey that had that smell when the heat was on. But it was a 2002, the smell was worse when we first turned on the heat.

Did you resolve this problem? I just joined. Had a problem like that on my last rig. A wire was loose on the electric element and the heat from the poor connection was melting the wire insulation and the terminal cover. I did not replace the element. I put a new spade connector on and tightened the screw. All worked well for several years after.

It's finally gone . Just thru using the heater I guess
