HWH power leveler system

I have an Itasca 2012 Ellipse model 42 qd, and I need to know how do it fill the hydraulic Reservior for the HWH leveler system. Where is the filler cap?

The reservoir is mounted in different places on different MH's. Some are under the steps and other places, mine is behind the same compartment door as the LP tank. It will have al cap on top with a dipstick attached. Retract jacks and slides before filling with either HWH fluid or Dextron fluid. Have someone push the auto-level button while you track down the sound of the motor.

reference: HWH FAQ page.

Chapter 10 of the Operator Manual for your coach describes the operation and maintenance of the slideout and leveling systems, including the location of the hydraulic fluid reservoir.

Btw, the Operator Manual indicates that you have PowerGear slides and jacks, not HWH.

Looks like under front passenger side with plug on top?
Maybe a compartment door to open to fill?

Under the steps, according to the Operator Manual.

That's an excellent diagram! How or where can I get a diagram for our MH's HWH leveling system?

These links should be the hydraulic and electrical diagrams for your HWH system:

Did you intend to include links, because I'm not seeing them.

Question Skewed push out retraction

I just went to retract my kitchen push out and it pulled the front in about 6 inches but the rear didn't move. I tried re-extending the push out but nothing happens.

When I tapped retract again - the front went in even further. Now i'm stuck with the rear being fully extended and front half in half out.

I tried releasing the hydraulic pressure by un spinning the two t handles on the BACK of the hydraulic unit and push on the front (wedging myself between the recliner and keeping my foot on the wall but with all my might - it doesn't buldge.

Anyone have any suggestions on crooked/skewed retractions?

I'm fortunate enough to be in my own back yard so I've just pushed some foam into the gaps for now so i don't get critter visitors.

I have found this link to HWHCORP but I really don't know how to identify my system.. All I see is two long aluminum square bars that appears hollow and there is some sort of adjustment screws.

https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml44100bx_so.html

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Maybe some info to start looking at solutions would help?

This should be the parts drawings for your RV;
https://www.winnebago.com/Files/File...9/vcm37b99.pdf

Page 13 might be a big help on getting it in as it seems to show a winch system? Do you have the owners manual to check for emergency info on the slides? Maybe info on how to find and use the winch to get it in? Owners manual should be online if not on hand?

Much appreciated.. I've found the which (PO had attached it to one of the crossbars behind the rearmost storage compartment on driver side.
The problem with that - is that IT is intended to retract a pushout that is stuck "out" on both sides - so it attaches in the A/C grate right next to kitchen table and pulls on a strap attached to the bottom of the couch. (center pull)...

I've released all pressure at the solenoids for the hydraulic unit and i'll wait an hour and go out and see if I can somehow push the front end out again.

We're fortunate enough to be home so having it "all out" rather than halfway is better (and I don't have to drive it anywhere).

While I was out there - i saw that there is a bent bolt on the side of the slide that hasn't moved.. (attached) Does anyone think it bent after the uneven retract or bent BECAUSE of it?

I believe that these are the correct HWH hydraulic and electrical diagrams for your 1999 Grand Tour 37B on the Chevrolet P12 chassis:
AP18141 LE SY 610 9S9 2RE P12 MP69017 MP88257
You may also find this link which references AP17848 useful: SLIDE-OUT Mechanisms - HWH Corporation

(you can see the handle of the winch at the bottom)
This is what the label on the slid out shows:

AP17848 is the part number for one of the hydraulic cylinders for your large slide (see the above linked HWH Hydraulic diagram).
