Well...

Until the Schwintec/Lippert slide mechanism failures are resolved you might want to wait. A friend is at a facility in Elkhart Indiana (a brand neaw 2015 coach) with the 4th failure of the full wall slide mechanism. Schwintec/Lippert is supposedly bought out Powergear and they supposedly have a fix for it. If the full wall slide mechanism has not failed then it probably will only be a matter of time. Just to make it clear Winnebago is not the only Coach builder that used that slide mechanism and is having the same problems.

To be clear, are Schwintec/Lippert slides found in all Winnebago and Itasca models?

We had a 2013 Meridian and that was the first year of the Lippert/Swintek mechanism. The 2014's and 2015's also used this mechanism. After ours failed for the third time we called Winnebago and were told that they had no permanent fix at that time! Needless to say, we decided to trade the unit as it had already been fixed at the dealer three times and nothing held. No more Winnebago's for us.
