Location of switch on 2001 Journey 36DL

We became proud owners of our first motorhome yesterday There are thousands of things to learn but , honestly , that actually makes this whole experience even more enjoyable.
I have read the owner's manual cover to cover ( and specific areas multiple times ). In some post here on iRV2 , a battery disconnect or battery off switch is referred to. I believe it's purpose is to prevent battery drain and also when storing the MH. Also, I believe I saw that the batteries could not be charged with this switch in the off position.
I've read the manual, searched this forum, and looked high and low on the coach. The only switch I can find that fits the above description is the "aux battery" switch located just above the generator switch on the instrument panel. I guess each MH is different but could this be the switch described above ( on our 2001 Journey 36 DL ) ?
Thanks.

That's the way it is on my Journey.

"Aux Battery" is usually a momentary switch jumper between coach and chassis batteries, isn't it? I'll run out and check mine in the morning to confirm. The battery disconnect switch on my Vectra (albeit a different model from a different year but from the same manufacturer) is on the passenger pedestal, to the immediate left as you enter into the coach, near the bottom of a row of switches. \ken

On my Journey there is an Aux Batt and Aux Start Mom. The Aux Batt connects or disconnects 12 volt power . The Aux Start Mom ties the batteries together for starting purposes. Both are rocker switches. The Aux Batt is on the dash to the right of the steering column and is located just above the generator switch. The Aux Start is to the left of the steering column on the dash at the top of a column of rocker switches.

I'm sure you are right. To be honest, I know the switches by their location and function, not by their names; it has been a while since I read the actual words below the switches. It would be easy for the OP to validate -- if the coach goes dark when the switch is pressed (and it is not a momentary switch) then that is prolly the right switch.

Thanks for checking!

Same as above on my 02 Journey.

Thanks for taking time to help with this. I thought this AUX BATT rocker switch was the
"off" switch I'd read about but could not confirm. Greatly appreciated

Thanks Grant. In my searching , I obviously missed this. Where did you find this diagram ? I probably just over looked it but , if there is another source of info on the Journey , it would be great to know.
Thanks again.

Thanks again. I'm just getting used to ( and still a little overwhelmed by ) the wealth of information that is available.

I also have a 2001 Journey but a 32T model. I found a battery disconnect at the REAR of the House Batteries Tray.

Thanks . I'll look there also. The switch Grant pointed out is the one I was originally looking for but there may be a second switch and that would be good to know.
Thanks again.
