Metal battery hold down is broken

The metal battery hold down on my 2002 Sightseer 27c has broken.

What can I use as a replacement?

Are the long threaded hold down rods OK or are they broken? If it's just the metal cross piece, it should be pretty easy to fashion something out of some suitably sized metal bar stock (I've even used a piece of hardwood). Paint it well with Rustoleum or similar paint. If the threaded rods are broken, it's not a big deal to fashion new ones. You can either make them out of suitably sized "all-thread" rod or use a thread cutting die to cut threads in an appropriately sized plain rod. Harbor freight has inexpensive dies.

If have the broken piece(s), you may get lucky and an auto parts store may have a suitable replacement.
