We just watched a TV show on National Geographic Channel (NCG), DirecTV 276, titled Ultimate Factories showcasing the manufacture of a Vectra. The show is scheduled again for this Saturday at 4:00 PM, Arizona time (MST).

Thanks for the heads up. Just programed the TVo. I've seen them at the factory but maybe this will show some additional areas that aren't covered during the guided tour.

We found it interesting because they followed the Vectra from beginning to end, including paint and the water chamber. We missed the first 30 minutes and want to see that part. They showed a lot of detail in the construction and assembly. These coaches are like giant 3-D puzzles with all the layers and interlocking pieces. It was very interesting to us.

My DH and I just watched the show. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new Vectra, so it was fun to watch the production of the coach. We ordered the Blackberry, which is the one they show being painted on the show. Since we did not get to see the color on an actual coach, it was great seeing it on the show....we love our choice.

Its a pretty amazing process to put one of these together.
