Need to swap lock cylinder basement door on 2005 Journey

Got a good used replacement basement door to replace damaged door. Need to get it painted to match. Replacement door does not lock/unlock with my key (dont have the replacement door key). Attached is photo of inside of lock...was hoping the lock was held in by a c-clip but it isn't. Also didn't see anyway of pulling off the entire exterior door latch and swapping it over without pulling off the inside panel and insulation. Anyone have experience changing one of these? Directions would be appreciated.

On my old bounder i would easily pull out the entire latch to repaint them, those used a near permanently pliable black gasket type stuff which i bought more of and that was the outside seal.

I would have to pry off the outside due to nice firm seal but was easy from inside side of door, be careful to not mark the outside of door.

hope this helps as mine were not this complex looking but still had lock in latch, a cylinder lock type.
