Passenger side slide trim removal on Vectra 40AD
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove the trim around the top of the passenger side slide. Picture attached. I have the headliner sagging problem so I would like to be able to get above the slide to remove and replace the ceiling headliner. I guess I have two other options. 1, Leave the trim in place, cut and clean the vinyl and foam as far as I can get to and then put up a new trim piece to help hold the new vinyl and hide the old vinyl that could not be removed. 2. Remove the slide. Not going to attempt that.
I would rather remove the trim and do it 'right'. But I guess option 2 would be ok. I just would not want the old vinyl to cause a problem with the slide as it continues to fall down over time.
Unit is a 2004 Vectra 40AD.
