Rear TV replacement

I have a 2008 Adventurer 38T & I would like to replace the old TV w/ smart TV . I cannot see how to remove the old one without tearing up the cabinetry, Has anyone done this? What is the secret?

Hi Gib Master 15,
I found this older thread which discusses the replacement of an old flat TV with a new flat smart TV:
Mounting TV's and interesting installation
I hope this helps, and welcome to the forum.

I posted about this in that thread that Eagle5 posted a link to in his post.

As I said then, the key is to unbolt the plate behind the tv. You gain access to those bolts via the blank space under the TV.

But I gotta ask? Why change the TV with a smart TV and not just add a Roku, Apple TV or Amazon Fire device?

We have a Roku connected to the #1 Satellite TV HDMI cable in our HDMI Matrix device. This sends the Roku output to all the TVs in the RV. But my receiver in the bedroom for that system went bad so we just put a separate Roku on that TV in that location.

Unless your buying a smart tv with Roku built in, which some models do have, you’ll probably find that you have lots more options with a standalone Roku device.

Mine was in the cabinet in the corner, so it was easy, took out the old tv and found a 22 inch that fit perfectly. Works great for us.

Note the cord running down the front of the cabinet. This was before I found out that the little inverter in the passenger side entertainment cabinet had to be turned on to energize the electrical receptacles for the TV's, both front and rear.
