Roof Upgrade

2018 Winnebago Vista LX 35F - I have been to an RV dealership for routine maintenance and this dealership is advising me to have some type of roofing protection applied to the roof. There are no leaks and I don't cover it. Does anyone have information on any type of roofing protection that needs to be done.
Thank you.

Dealer wants money_yours. The only thing that must be done is every year inspect all seams, joints, and roof penetrations sealant appearance. If any damage or deterioration is seen it should be remedied ASAP.

if you are unsure how to inspect and repair sealant, there are numerous utube videos to guide your efforts.

Yeah, Ray,IN is correct.

I'd also suggest that you consider getting a roll or two of 4" Eternabond tape and one of these days, clean the roof, then apply the tape OVER any caulking. After smoothing the caulking cleaning it up, maybe trimming the edges, so the tape has full coverage and still grips the edges of what you're covering. Doesn't matter if it's a TPO or Filon roof. Needs either tape and forget it or constant maintenance.

You can see a bunch of pictures of this at my ad free blog here: Roof and roof items... and here: Roof issues...

Here's an example:
