Seat belts Comfort Sofa Sleeper on Sightseer 33C
I just got a 2011 Sightseer 33c with the leather Comfort Sleep Sofa with inflatable mattress. There does not seem to be any seat belts for occupants on the sofa when coach is in motion.
Is that correct?
I know not required legally, but will be safety issue.
Thanks.

Maybe that is one of the new cost-savings programs? Ours is an older model Winnebago and has the seat belts. Would not be very difficult to add them if you truly need them, tho. Prolly get them at any auto parts store. \ken

There are seat belts on mine but they are laying on the floor underneath the sofa. Although mine is the Itasca Sunova 33c it is identical to the Sightseer 33c and both are made by Winnebago on the same production lines.

The 2011 Sightseer Brochure shows seat belts on the Comfort Sofa. If they're not present the mounting locations for them will almost certainly be there.

Guess I need to open it up and take another look. I had it open today and inflated the mattress, but did not look under the frame. I don't see how the belts could thread up through the bed frame, but will look.
Thanks

We bought the 2014 30T Vista. we found the seatbelts under the sofa and we put them through the stitched openings for easy access. Tony

Thought they were standard like on the sofa. They can also end up under the seat and under the cover the cushion sits on.
