Source for these? Are they screw covers?

Anyone know where I can get these? They hold the fender trim on my 2008 Itasca Sunova 26p.

I don't know what to call them except screw covers. The auto parts store does not carry them. The rig uses 12 of them, and a few are broken.

I got some from Lichtsinn RV parts a few months ago, but they only come in white and you have to hit them with the correct color touch-up paint. Sorry but I don't have a part number, just call and talk to David and he'll hook you up.

Thank you WYO! I will call them in the morning. And then I will get the right touch up paint. Need that anyway!

Any idea what the doodads are called?

See my reply at iRV2, they are 2 piece screw covers. I was able to get gray ones for my dash panels from a Winnebago dealer.

The ones I needed were for the slide out corner covers, and they were labeled "cap-retainer". I ordered a dozen to cover what I needed and have a few extra on hand. No idea if this is what you need or not, but Lichtsinn parts probably will be able to help.

LOL. That's the way it always works! Per Wyocamper, I just call Lichtmans and ordered some. Looks like I will get the exact same thing. Bag of 10 black collars and 10 black caps! I think the parts guy called them trim retainer clips!

Thank you everyone. I have some on order from Lichtman's Rv. About $7 for a bag of 10 collars and maybe the same for the plugs that fill them. When I learn the actual name, I will post it and the part numbers.

Did you ever learn the actual name? Also, how much did you have to pay in total? Did they have minimum order amount and what about shipping cost?

I noticed two of mine missing this morning https://www.winnieowners.com/forums/...ml#post3943339

My coach is tan

Yes! Lichtsinn RV (641) 585 - 3213 got them for them to me right away!

Part 1 149753-01-01A - RETAINER BLACK $7.00 for 10
Part 2 149753-02-01A - CAP BLACK $3.00 for 10

Came to $14 shipped. Now I have 10 to use around my rig. Came black and I am painting silver to blend in with my RV sides!

Thanks so about $25. If I have to paint tan, that may be another problem. I am assuming they would NOT sell you the color for your coach or maybe you were just in a rush to get what they had?

I may have to call WBGO to at least verify on the color possibilities. Maybe I will hear from my local Dealer by COB today.

$14 after shipping. Total. So that's nice. Yes, I have seen people receiving gray ones and black ones. There may be white, but I don't think you will get a color match. They really require paint for that.

Wow, so no order dollar value minimum and no ridicules shipping charges.

So versus waiting on my Dealer to call me back, I called Lichtsinn at 9:57am, 10 minutes later ( on hold about 7 minutes) I have a set of 10 on order for exactly $14. They come in white or black; so I ordered the white. They say I am on my own as far as the paint. A few weeks ago, I could have just left them in the Texas sun for a week or so and they would be naturally a light tan. Maybe I find some cheap almond color spray paint at a Wal Mart.

Now I have to struggle on what to say when and if the local Dealer ever calls me back. They may not because the 1st question they always ask is whether you bought the coach from them I didn't. But as it turns out, even if they have some in stock, it is worth NOT having to driving 40 miles to go pick up.

You could always go to Walgreens and look for a close match in nail polish.

At first I thought this was a joke, but then I realized how genius this is. First, nail polish is pretty durable. Second, it comes in all shades! Third, you can put a clear coat on it!

I used some silver spray paint but suspect I need to add a clear coat. Matching a color with nail polish is probably easier! Genius!

If I go to Walgreens shopping for Nail Polish it will be a joke

I think, I will turn this point over to my wife tonight and see what she says. I actually have one that was broken but not quite lost so she could experiment. But to me, the ones that I have don't seem painted at all, just looks like light tan plastic all the way through.

I also think if I put a couple in my Pool Chemical storage shed they will fade a tan color as well. But I will give my wife 1st dibs.
