Splendide 2100 Combo Washer

Hopefully someone will get use of this info. The doorlock switch on my washer failed and during the replacement process which involved removing the washer from the cabinet enclosure I checked my dryer vent hose and it turned out to be completely full of lint. The hose had many kinks in it which created problems. I looked at the way the washer drain plumbing was installed and it created alot of the problem. The solution I came up with was to cut a larger opening in the floor to minimize the sharp bend and cut the 11/2"ABS drain piping and rotated it 180 degrees and reconnected the piping. Doing this opened up the corner where the dryer vent tube is run and hopefully allowing free air flow to enhance dryer performance and minimize lint being caught inside the vent pipe. So I highly suggest taking a good look at your setup. I also learned how to bypass the doorlock switch if anyone needs to do this cut the brown and black wire off the switch and connect them together leaving the white wire on the plug and plugging the harness plug back into the switch. This tricks the controller into thinking that the door is locked thereby allowing the washer to function. Beware that the door will now open at any point during the run cycle.
