Vista LX vs. Adventurer

We recently bought the 2019 Winnebago Vista LX model (35f) - says Winnebago on the front hood, Vista on the back.

Anyway, the dealer said that Vista LX will go away in the 2020 models, and there will just be the Winnebago Adventurer. Something about Winnebago buying the company that made Vista - and no sense in having two models that are identical in layout.

From what we heard, the 2020 Adventurer will be more $$ than the 2019 Vista, with no changes to what you get. That could be a dealer line of BS.

Either way, its a quality coach from what we can tell, and certainly a big step up from our Thor ACE.

Pretty much all of that dealer's info seems like it was BS. It does look like the LX model is going away. But some other company did not make the Vista LX and WBGO didn't buy them. It's super common for dealers to have no clue about the products they sell and the companies that make them.

The Vista LX has always been a Winnebago product. And the Adventurer has always been more expensive MSRP than the LX models. I never noticed before that 35F Vista LX was so identical to the new 2019 Adventurer 35F.

It seems that they are paring down a lot of the gas Class A model line. Getting rid of the Sightseer, Sunova, Vista LX and the Sunstar LX.

In light of that it's very odd that they're keeping both the Vista and the Sunstar (non-lx versions for both). The Vista was the Winnebago model and the Sunstar was the Itasca model. The two are identical and since they got rid of Itasca brands you'd think they'd drop the Sunstar model, too. But no.
