Smile The Kitchen Sink

I saw a post somewhere that talked about replacing the kitchen sink with a single basin type, can’t remember if it was FB or where it was..??.. If it was posted on here, please forgive me for my CRS disease (Can’t Remember $hit)

Checked out the sink and strainer basket on etrailer and decided to go with it. This was the easiest upgrade I’ve ever done, it literally swapped out way too easy. Had to get a 6” sink tailpiece but that’s it, reused the existing trap and connecting pipe. The factory sink was way too shallow and the basins were small. This one should work a little better,,, washing bigger stuff like a griddle and large pots/skillets was a challenge in the old sink.

Nice! Now get yourself one of these type of faucets, and lose the annoying weight below the sink that gets caught on everything...

That looks nice. My Vista likely had what you had - acrylic and double. Looks like the one on Etrailer is also insulated - nice. I'd have to check depth as the water heater is under in a 29ve model.

I like it and Wyatt - yes to that - I never thought about the spring but the weight does get caught as the room down there is tight!!!

Thanks, but I’ll have to pass on that one. Thankfully there are options for everyone’s taste and needs. The Mrs. would not be happy with that, she calls the springy faucets crud catchers that are hard to keep clean (don’t shoot me I’m just the messenger). Not to mention ours works perfectly without issue since it was “expertly” installed (by none other than me) three years ago. No snags and notice the pool noodle on the edge of the wall that keeps the weight from making noise while traveling. Either faucet is tremendously better than the junk that came with the coach though, that thing could barely be called a faucet.

Ours had a stainless double bowl sink that was very shallow and the bowls were too small to be functional in many cases. Made it hard to clean larger items. The new one does have some spray on insulation and it was just a bit heavier too.

Thanks for this. All the faucets we find that we like don't swivel. That just won't work with the silly, shallow, double sink. Heading out now to see how deep a sink we can accommodate. Kudos!

Nice job! The existing dual basin's are definitely much too small.

Will plan on doing this after the summer. Thanks!
