Where is the fuel filter for 96 Adventurer gas Ford chassis?

And is there more than one? Had a complete tune up in the summer after it barely got to the beach. Sound like it was missing and didn't have much power. They replaced the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. They said they did the air filter too but I don't know how to access it. Ran good going home. A four hour trip. A month later it was doing it again. I want to start working on before spring. Thanks.

7.5 liter
Gas
Automatic Transmission
Not even 50K miles yet.

For a '96?

Hmm. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a large can type gas filter strapped to the rail frame. Ford liked to spec a big filter like that back in those days.

On my 1997 Coachmen Catalina, it was on the passenger side frame rail, just aft of the exhaust accumulator. As you probably know, fuel pump failures were pretty common in that era F53, so you might want the techie to read your fuel pressure.
