I have been looking at chassis parts for my class A and they refer to the following "Fits the Ford F-53 chassis with a 14,000 to 18,000 GVW and a Dana 80 differential." I have looked at all the coach literature and can't find any reference th the chassis number. I have the 18,000 GVW with Dana 80 differential so I assume it is a F-53.
Any ideas?

Thanks

My 2004 Sightseer 30B has a Workhorse symbol on each outside wall near the front. Also, if it's a Ford it's a V-10 engine. If a Workhorse, a V-8.

I'm not sure what you are asking? How do you know what your GVW and axle is if you dont have literature? Don't you have mainenance books in your literature for your chassis? On the drivers door or in that area you have a placard with serial number etc on it. Also the steering wheel says Ford or Workhorse.

What engine does it have? Does it have airbags up front in coil springs? What emblem is on the steering wheel? Can not believe you bought this new not knowing what you were buying.

You have a Ford F53 18000lb GVW chassis on the 30B, as long as there is a Ford emblem on the steering wheel.
