Wind Noise in new Suncruiser 37f?
Driving around in the Suncruiser on the freeway (60-65mph), we noted that there seems to be a lot of wind noise when we are at speed.
Some of it comes from the drivers door, which is in need of adjustment, but there seemed to be a lot of noise from the passenger side as well.
I know these things aren't as quiet as a DP, and I expected engine noise, but the noise seemed to be louder than my old Southwind (which was old and creaky).
I'm wondering if other Suncruisers out there experience a lot of wind noise?
Thanks,
Jerald

I've read where window drains cause alot of noise. To test, most use tape and go over the drains, then out for a test drive to see if the noise is still present. I also know there are plastic clips that fit into the window drains for a more permanent fix.
Tape will be your friend for identifying the noisiest areas. Tape the door seams off and go for a ride to determine if the door is a problem.
Good luck, trial and error will solve this for you.

As Lt46 mentioned, I also have heard of numerous cases where the window drain clips are missing. It happened with my sister on her new MH. Dealer will give you the clips.

I had the same problem with wind noise. It was a missing window weep hole cover. Installed a replacement weep hole cover and the wind noise was gone.

As a followup - We took the rig out with a bunch tape on the door and the "weep" holes.
Yep - that was the ticket. I now need to find a bunch of weep hole covers (at least 6) and we will take it from there.
Many thanks for the advice.

I put tape over the drains and it still makes wind noise on driver side.

wind noise
I think Winnebago has a problem, My 27N has leaked air since new and dealer tried a cheapo silicone fix (3 times). I made them call the factory and approve a window reset. Also saw a 30 at a campground and the owner said his cracked just sitting at the site (no jacks )

I also had to re-seal the door. I've got an appointment for some warranty work to re-seal the drivers door - you could see light through it.
As an interium measure I put some of that one sided sticky foam (used for sealing windows) on the door.
