So, here's a potential tip for those who want weep hole covers.
First of all, I determined that a lot of the front seat area wind noise was caused by the weep holes.
Second, those covers I bought were not correct and I retruned them.
Third, the ones I need have been discontinued.
I used our Sunstar last weekend to ferry a men's retreat group down to the monastery in Santa Barbara (~100 miles one way) and it afforded me the opportunity to do 1 experiment on purpose, and one accidentally.
For the on-purpose experiment, I covered all of the driver and passenger seat weep holes with electrical tape to check the wind noise reduction. It was noticeably quieter in there on 101, especially on the return trip with heavy crosswinds.
For the inadvertent experiment, we had lots of rain there over the weekend, some heavy. I left the tape on, and there was no leaking into the coach.
HOWEVER, this is due to the design of these aluminum window frames. The weep slots are cut or punched in a recessed horizontal groove in the extruded frame. See the top post picture in this thread.
My tape covers bridge that groove and leaves a slight opening on each end for water to escape.
Now that I have a (cheap!) solution, I will think about something better.
