Window Replacement/Change Out

Has anyone ever replaced the bedroom window - passenger side - on a 36 ft Journey - ours is a 2006, the whole window is clouded - also don't really like the style of the window - it pushes out at the bottom - so very little ventilation. particularly since the other window is a very small one beside the closet push out. Any info or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Try C.R. Laurence.com They sell the whole window assy or Super spacer material and Super spacer sealant if you go DIY. Good instructions come with the spacer, and of course there are a number of YouTube videos that are instructive. Amazon also carries their spacer and sealant.

We pulled the little hinged window on drivers's side of our bed and replaced the spacer, following along with a video. Took all day, but we've confidence now to do the three panel assy next to the driver's seat. Might as well. We had to buy in quantities to do them all. About $80 for pkg of 66' of spacer, $80 for four tubes of sealant, $15 for butyl sealing tape roll.

Basically, remove the glass & frame from your rig (YouTube). Remove the glass from the frame (it wants to ). Use dental floss or fishing line or........ to saw through the old sealant and separate the two pieces of glass ( it doesn't want to ). Use a scraper and solvent (paint thinner worked) to get the old spacer and sealant off. Then alcohol to get the solvent off. Then we removed the haze with CLR and 0000 steel wool (no, it will not scratch the glass). Rinse well, very well, then another alcohol wipe down. Then install the spacer per included instructions on one glass (it is sticky) about 1/4" in from the edge. Then place the other glass. Then a bead of sealant in the 1/4" gap. Reinstall in the frame. Reinstall the assy into your rig. The spacer has a built in desiccant, but try to work in a low humidity place. Hint: we knocked together a temporary 3/4" deep box that just fit the glass. That lined up the two pieces perfectly.
