Smile Winn Solei Slide Stuck out Help

My 2016 Winnebago Driver's side slide is stuck out. I have a Power Gear Dual Planetary Slide Rack wall mount System. The fault code is 1 green 4 red.

I need help with things-

1. Winnebago's Premium Roadside Assistance phone number.
2. Steps to find and disconnect the two slide motors to manually retract the coach.
3. Mobile Tech Support near Foley, Alabama
4. Somebody with nothing better to do to come and help.

It's the Holiday, isn't it? Thanks, John

.pdf ending in2679- I wish I had that one, it has provision for manual override. I have 1510000276. No manual override or fault reset that I've found yet.

I regret not inputting the control box p/n to begin. I did find it.

.pdf ending in 2813 is the cat's meow! It includes tips and explanations not in my manual. Specifically, if power is available the control box will enter 'emergency jog. This means that repeatedly pressing the rocker switch in the desired direction to 'jog' the slide in (or out) why go out if it's broke?

Sadly, 'emergency jog' does not work with lack of power.

The solution is to go outside and remove the motors to manually push, or crank, the slide back in and then go for OEM repair.

Finally, I called 411 on my cell phone and asked Directory Assistance for Winnebago in Forest City, Iowa. No luck. I did call, as it turns out, Winnebago Flight Control and spoke with a security guard. He stated he would try to help by making some phone calls and calling me back.

He did call me back He gave the phone number for Coachnet, 855-817-1885 Because, as he said, 'they handle our roadside....' So, the Winnebago Premium Roadside Assistance is a myth. They use Coachnet.

And, no, although my account is now on file with Coachnet, neither Coachnet Tech Support nor a mobile repair service provided by Coachnet has contacted me.

Did I mention- Happy Holiday Weekend? See ya'all Tuesday.

Assuming you have enough power to the motors.

Not sure this will help, but my large slide gets a fault code once in a great while, for no apparent reason, sometimes when extending, sometimes when retracting. I find that if I hit the switch to kill both chassis and coach 12v power, wait one minute, and switch back on, the fault code goes away.

I figure the computer chip in the slide control is being re-booted, and all is well again.

Last resort, follow the instructions in the manual to release the motor brake, and manually crank in the slide.

Good luck.

Thanks to all.

Coachnet located, and sent out, a mobile repair technician on Sunday morning. Coach & Camper Care Elberta, Alabama 257-947-0521. He pulled the motors. 4 of us attempted to manually push in the slide as instructed in the manual and on-line. To no avail. The Slide was totally jammed. Slide control module failure code due to motor won't turn due to motor housing cracked and assembly jammed.

After pulling the motor out, it came to life. The control module reset. No, there is no reset on the module and so-called 'emergency jog' never worked because the control module locked out motor voltage. Now the problem was to re-align the 'dog' on the motor with the receiver notch inside the slide vertical drive shaft. An almost impossible task. Pushing and shoving and with motors torquing, something 'gave' and the slide powered in.

More to this story. Winnebago Customer service told me today I was not eligible for Winnebago provided Coachnet Roadside Assistance due to the fact I purchased the machine from Camping World. Therefore, Camping World must supply Good Sam Roadside Assistance.

We had our large Schwintek slide changed to the slim Power Gear slide mechanisms on our Forza 34T and all seems ok......so far. Come join us Winnebago Diesel Pusher Owners Group where a lot of Forza and Solei Owners reside! https://m.facebook.com/groups/228615810948729
