Winnebago Aux Light Switch

Just got my Meridian 40R home and haven't figured out what the Aux Kight switch turns on. I did see the Aux Front Lights switch turns on the LEDs on the front grill. Any ideas?

Looks like you've not gotten much attention yet,so maybe we can start with a guess??

Have you found a switch for these lights around the top of the cab area? Maybe inside the cabinets so they are hidden from view?

Found those switches and the one for the lights over the dash in cabnet I'm not sure that switch is connected to anything It was very dark last night and I didnt see any lights inside or out when I turned it on. I'm going to read the supplimental manuals over the next few days.

When looking over a newer RV, there is a great online site to check out if you get into finding things or need to know the name if an item when you find one and never seen one before!
Parts catalog is an interactive that lets you "drive around all overand through the RV to spot things without having to crawl!

https://catalog3d.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm

Bit of learning curve to figure how to get best look but lots of info there!

I did a snip of the front end wiring and did spot the switch mentioned and the ID says what you are tellinjg us but not any more!

Click this snip to get a better view or go direct?

Any of you other folks have a better guess as to what the switch does?

You haven't mentioned where this aux light switch is located. On my 2012 Itasca Suncruiser 37F, there is an aux light switch that turns on the drivers map light. The light can also be switched off at it's base. If the light is switched off at it's base, the aux switch appears to do nothing. If the aux switch is off, the switch at the light base appears to do nothing. Both switches need to be on for the map light to work. Until I figured it out, I thought that the light was defective. Changing the bulb obviously didn't help.

This likely doesn't apply yet as you are not that interested to go to that trouble but there is a way to get more info on what things do, but it does require some work!

There are labels printed on the side of the wires to the switch like this pic shows.

So IF you ever get so bored/bothered, one could look at the code on the wires and use this chart to "decode" to to get the "to" and "from" of that wire!

I'm not likely to get that bored but just in case?

Maybe somebody with better info shows before you tear out the dash!

On my 2019 Forza the Aux front Light switch activates a LED strip around my headlights.
The aux light switch illuminates a ground effect LED strip around the perimeter of the coach. It is controllable via a Bluetooth app to change colors!

So there were 2 instruction manuals in the big folder that came with it for LED strips. What APP do you use and was there a remote also?

Morich:

Is this guide unique to the OP's rig or is universal for all Class A's (i.e. Adventurer 38Q) . Curious --looks helpful

Thanks
Joe
