Winnebago Brave Front End Alignment
We are new to the class A and RV and IRV2 world. WOW! Know that's a lot of firsts. We bought our first rv a used 2003 Winnebago Brave 32V of a Ford chassis. The coach did not have any history as far as repair records are concerned. Does anyone have any experience with one of these as far as front end alignment goes? Where did you get it done? What is a reasonable price to pay to get it done? All help greatly appreciated. Thanks Chip.

Welcome Chip! Your question on front end alignment will be better answered on the Winnebago Forum or the Ford Chassis Forum.

Welcome and maybe call your local Ford dealership. If they can't do it, they will know who can.

Hi Chip! Welcome to the forum! It's great to have you join the gang!
Congrats on the new rig! Sorry I can't help with your questions. You will definitely get better results in other areas of the forum, but forum rules don't allow posting the same questions in two different places. Maybe one of the Moderators will move your post over! Enjoy the forum!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I moved the thread to the Winnebago Owners section and renamed it to "Winnebago Brave Front End Alignment" so hopefully you should get some answers to your question.

The only thing that's easily adjustable on the Ford chassis is the toe. It's still worth finding a shop that can measure everything though. Some have found that maxing out the caster helps the driveability for example, but it's a bit of work to install shims to add caster.

I take mine to a local tire shop that has doors tall enough to drive in their shop. They charge the same as a car. $65

Thanks Tim&Paula. My local shop wants to charge over $700 to align front end. Does that make me think? Ahhh YES,!

I think I would find another shop, should be able to get it done for less than $150 at most depending on what they have to do.
